New year...

     Now is a start to a whole new year... As you may know my life is currently set on pause for a while.  However some good memories were hatched out of 2016 and for that I am extremely grateful.  So what now you may ask, what will I do this year that is different from last... I honestly don't know.   However, I sure hope that this year is better than last.  That's all we can really hope for, right?  So with that in  mind, I shall leave you guys with this quote (by a stranger out in the universe) I found a couple years ago on a M83 music video.  It honestly spoke volumes... perhaps it will give you guys some clarity on a start to a new year.

"So I'm here, on this earth, in a universe filled with at least 100 billion galaxies.  With those galaxies are an unknowable number of stars.  Orbiting those stars are even more planets.  We find ourselves alive.  Carbon based life forms with the ability to create.  Conscious beings living out the bittersweet thing we call life. Long story short, there is no answer to the question, "Why is there something rather than nothing?" Please, I'm begging you. Push through the hard times. Cherish the fact that the hard times exist. Appreciate your existence. There will be a time when no one is left to appreciate all of man kinds accomplishments. So don't waste another minute.  Much love. -Something"

What now??

     So I think it is safe to say that I have been way behind in keeping up with this blog.  All I can say is that school kept me extremely busy, but now,  I have all the time in the world to catch up.  (Hopefully fingers crossed!)

     Let me see where to start... oh yeah my college life is set on pause for awhile which in reality sucks for me but what can you do... So I guess the actual time I have on hand  is for me to focus on other parts of life.  (Which sounds kinda scary but should also be kind of exciting all at the same time.)  By that I mean get a job, get a car, and just get life a little bit more on track than it is.  I've always been the kinda person who thinks things will eventually fall together but lately life has been a little out of whack lately.  So who knows maybe the upcoming year will be a little better than the end of this one. ;)

   Well I didn't really want to bore you out there with my weird depressive ramblings, but sometimes I think we need a way to get it all out there ya know.  So hopefully I will be more active on this blog and write about more interesting things soon.

New Year...

Summer partie une...

     So, I've been staring at this blank page for about 2 hours thinking about what I should write about... (Final thoughts: rein!)  I honestly have no clue what I want this blog to turn into, but I'm sure I'll keep you guys entertained!

     Lets start by explaining what the hell summer partie une means!  I told you all that I was attending college... right? (Enter summer partie une!)  I am currently enrolled in Summer I and let me tell you... it's been a lot of work.  It's basically a four week class and  I'm on week three. We've already had 4 major exams and we still need four more to go.  So you can imagine the hardcore studying going on over here.  My mind is currently thinking about epithelial tissues, body cavities, skeletal tissue, and muscle regions.  It' been my life for the past two to three weeks and its just all I can think about! (Imagine Rachel, from friends, saying that line!)

     Now, I don't want to bore you all with the details, but we opened up a cat today. (Technically it was already opened!) We were getting familiarized with the muscles, basic structures, and locations.  So this upcoming lab exam should be the cats meow.

Hey guys,

Since this is my very first blog post, I thought I should give you some insight about me.  It will be a mixture of 30 random facts about my life, fears, basic info, likes/dislikes, etc.
So here it goes...

1. I am 22 years old  (Starting off with an easy one there! Phew!)
2. I am currently in college
3. Coffee is pretty damn good!
4. My two favorite candy bars are lindtt hazelnut bars and paydays.
5. Hot fries and ruffles are the best chips ever created.
6. Cereals are my weakness!
7. I am a firm believer in drinking lots of water!
8. I have never really had a job
9. I have two nieces and two nephews
10. I have known my best friend since kindergarten. (We go way back!)
11. I am still a non driver... ;/
12. I am not a fan of hot weather, I'd rather be cold!
13. I have been on accutane and it was the best choice I have ever made!
14. Going to the dentist freaks me out!  (Well any doctor really, but mostly the dentist!)
15. I hate roaches and caterpillars!
16. I am the weirdo in my family. (It's cool though,  I totally embrace it!)
17. People often tell me I remind them of Jessica Day on New girl.  (It's the quirkiness!)
18. I have the weirdest luck ever! (That will be explained in a future post maybe..?)
19. I attract the weird guys & the guys that make people feel uncomfortable. (Weird luck kicking in!)
20. I can't swim, ride a bike, or skate. (Yeah this gal was an inside girl!)
21. I am a great painter!
22. At one point I was thinking about being a tattoo artist.
23. Sons of Anarchy was the best show on FX aside from American Horror Story!
24. F-R-I-E-N-D-S has to be my favorite show ever!
25. Netflix is the shit!  (I recommend Copenhagen, In your Eyes, and Barefoot)
26. Ian Somerhalder, Chris Hemsworth, Charlie Hunnam, Jensen Ackles, and Sebastian Rulli are dreamy!
27. Edward Scissorhands is my favorite movie!
28. Beyonce and Lana Del Rey are amazing!
29. The Scientist is my favorite song.
30. I believe that the simple pleasures in life are the best.
